OUR MISSION

ReVision’s mission and programs support survivors of human trafficking, displacement, and abuse, as well as at-risk, vulnerable populations through rapidly scalable trauma healing and resilience programs.

OUR VISION

ReVision is committed to helping individuals and communities transform the embodied narrative of trauma to one of courage, wisdom and empowerment.

Trauma Healing and Resilience (THR) Program

For survivors of trafficking, abuse, and those at risk.

True healing and empowerment programs equip participants with the skills and confidence to know and grow in the core competencies of what is provided. The Trauma Healing and Resilience Program is designed to skillfully transfer knowledge to participants so they can release deep tension in the body and mind, develop personal trust and insight, and begin to take effective, positive action in their lives – personally and professionally.

The complete training is delivered in three modules to survivors of human trafficking, violence and abuse, and NGO staff who support survivors in India and Nepal. This is a survivor to survivor model which is rapidly scalable as survivors will be certified as teachers to train thousands of other survivors.

When I will feel depressed and upset I will use this to relax myself and if anybody needs help I would go forward to help them.

This training was helpful to calm my mind down and improved my well being.

The Trauma Healing and Resilience Program launched in South Asia, specifically in India and Nepal, in 2016. Over the course of the next five years, these teachers will teach and train an estimated 100,000-300,000 survivors, refugees, and vulnerable groups who will benefit in India, Nepal, and neighboring countries.

This means many thousands of survivors will experience tangible benefits like these:

It was very helpful for calming myself down and seeing a better vision of myself.

In the beginning I was sad in the hostel, now I am more happy.

I sleep better.

Survivors of trafficking and abuse and NGO staff attend the THR trainings at no cost to them.

THR trained teachers are currently using their skills in government shelter homes, counseling centers, rural villages, railway platforms, entertainment sectors, schools, and slums.

We rely on grants and the generosity of individuals just like you to fund this important work. Please consider a recurring donation or a one-time donation now.

Due to COVID-19, our work in South Asia has been postponed through 2023.
